Our beloved Vanagon, Reddy, had engine SPLARF last night to the tune of about $4k (or $8k if we want to make it a VW/Subaru mutant wonder beast). She has served us well. I may have to sell some of my organs to get her back in shape. You only need one of your livers, right? I hear they buy fat bellies in Phnom Penh. Sweet!
Rory was up most the night spewing pesto all over the place. This baby was cheaper to fix. Needless to say, I’m not so keen on eating pesto anytime soon 
I know it may sound cliche, but, I am so thankful for my kids. I am also, therefore, thankful for Jade and I’m thankful for God. I’m thankful to God for God. Not in the “I-just-won-an-Mtv-Video-Music-Award” kind of way. I genuinely see how God has taken me from a highly functional drug addicted dysfunctional family to this wonderful little experiment above. Thank God.

Anywho, enough about me. I just wanted to make sure that you all knew today is Chris’ 35th birthday. To say that I’m so thankful for his life and the blessing he has been to me is an understatement. I love you Hopi Aumal. Thank you for sharpening me, making me laugh, listening to me, being such an amazing dad to our kids and continually sharing your heart.
