Check out Greg Lawler’s slideshow of me* and Billy of Billy’s Guitar Garage!
I got to pick up my sweet Fender today! I brought Kevin Grose because he was in a band and he could actually identify the bands on the walls. Like the drummer from The Scorpions, for instance.
* Warning: I am a total poser.

cool shots. you have great air guitar. now i feel even more left out. super.
Whitey, I am but a shell of a shadow of a rumor of a guitar player compared to you. I need you to show me the soul of the instrument. Please forgive my mid day pick up of my guitar with pick ups. You are my guitar Qui Gon Jinn. My Ho Chi Min. My Dorsal Fin. And when I dream about guitars you are my Ambien. My next of Kin. My Great Bargain. My 6 Stringed Sail Boat’s Blustery Wind. My Current Best Friend!
ahhhhhhhh…..you’re the best. wait, no, I’m the best friend!! seriously, thanks man. I’ll be your dorsal fin any day!
-Qui Gon Whitey
no offense but I have had about enough of looking at Billy’s Mug…I was enjoying the break…then I come here…and there he is again mocking me with that coy…I’m-a-rocker-but-I-am-a-nice-guy-smile…so if Andy is the dorsal fin…what does that make me? Never mind…don’t answer that!
You ARE a poser! Rudy Schenker was NOT the drummer for the Scorpions; he was their founding member and legendary rhythm guitarist. He is possibly the greatest German in entertainment not named Kerkeling, Sinnen, or Hasselhoff.
Jingleboy was probably thinking of Herman Rarebell; fourth drummer of the band. “Heir Herm” (as he is known to fans) had the longest tenure that included the late seventies and eighties; also referred to as the “Golden Age of The Scorpions.”
FYI – Hape Kerkeling – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hape_Kerkeling
Hella Von Sinnen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hella_von_Sinnen
Legrose, that knowledge is….well it’s just…legross.
