I saw Wilco last night! My back hurt like a freak, but at least I had this sweet view.
Wilco sounded great. Special thanks to this super fan who decided to stand in front of me the whole time and to the guy down the row who provided me (and all of us) with his medicinal marijuana smoke.
William started kindergarten today!
I couldn’t be more proud of my boy! He’s in a bi-lingual school and will be making fun of me in Spanish by Christmas.
The best thing about the Bay Area is my cousin, Tim Hay! We got to hang out for a late dinner tonight. Tim’s like a big brother to me. A big brother that I don’t see very often that has different parents than me and one of them is the brother of my mother.

Will and I are rocking the fauxhawk during my vacation.
I figure since Jade will be teaching the kids soccer skills, I might as well teach them the fine art of soccer hooliganism. First, the hair. Next, Will and I will celebrate even the smallest victories with a huge head butt followed by a resounding “OY! Next one’s in the bollocks!”
For example:
Will: “Daddy! I found my chewbacca!”
SLAM!
Me: “OY! Next one’s in the bollocks!”
Parenting is hard work, but worth it.

I’m off work until August 20th! I’m gonna take the family camping next week and everything. Don’t think about breaking into my house while I’m away. I have that place booby trapped like a mutha! Your boobies will get seriously trapped if you even try it.
I’ll remind you that I bought a ninja suit in 7th grade. So, either I grew out of it or it grew with me. You can risk it if you like. I don’t recommend you test my skills in the art of Ninjitsu.
I’m looking forward to a relaxing time with friends and family. The Steele ladies will join us along with the Hislop clan. Throughout the week we’ll have visitors from all over Santa Barbara and Goleta. If I can get a signal, I’ll post photos.
