I saw Wilco last night! My back hurt like a freak, but at least I had this sweet view.
Wilco sounded great. Special thanks to this super fan who decided to stand in front of me the whole time and to the guy down the row who provided me (and all of us) with his medicinal marijuana smoke.
yeah…room high..outdoors even…not very fun…the music however was OUTSTANDING!!!
Show of the…well, there was that National show at the El Rey with Douglas, and Bright Eyes at the Arlington and in NYC, and Death Cab at Arlington. Still, Wilco was right there in a spare, but high quality concert year. Nels on guitar and socks!! Incredible Glen…. Tweedy clean and sober (though clearly becoming necessarily deferential to Nels in the lead guitar realm). Wow!
