My friend and former coworker, Greg Gilbert, passed away this week from uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension. He was 26 and brilliant. He was the sharpest IT guy I’ve ever worked with. That’s no typo. We’ve called him Gerg (Gerj) ever since he got his Win 95 MCP certificate from Microsoft with his name misspelled. What a good sport.

I am Greg’s grandmother. Did you know that they are dedicating a bench in Greg’s honor this Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Ventura Campus where Greg worked. We are planning to be there.
