RIP Greg Gilbert

My friend and former coworker, Greg Gilbert, passed away this week from uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension. He was 26 and brilliant. He was the sharpest IT guy I’ve ever worked with. Super smart and humble and helpful. A rare combo.  He will be missed.  For more info or to share with loved ones, head over to http://www.gergfoundation.org
That’s no typo.  We’ve called him Gerg (Gerj) ever since he got his Win 95 MCP certificate from Microsoft with his name misspelled.  What a good sport.

Thank you, for your words. I have been missing Greg so much I started to look for him on the web. I found your words they made me know I was not missing him alone. Greg’s mom

    Dear Laura Cook,
You certainly are not alone. I ran into Greg’s dad at a Dodger game and it all came rushing back as it does whenever we think of Greg (or more often, need his help).

    Hi Chris

I am Greg’s grandmother. Did you know that they are dedicating a bench in Greg’s honor this Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Ventura Campus where Greg worked. We are planning to be there.

    Evelyn Gilbert
