Nous avons récemment vu Kristen Scott Thomas dans “Il ya longtemps que je t’aime” écrit et réalisé par Philippe Claudel. J’ai été très impressionné par son travail, à l’exception de Random Hearts, mais qui a été le plus souvent parce que Han Solo est sans Chewbacca. Je sais, impardonnable. Dans ce film, elle se transforme en une puissante performance comme un ex-taulard qui vivent en dehors de la prison pour la première fois en 15 ans. A travers le film que vous découvrez dans ce qu’elle a été et pourquoi. Une véritable histoire déchirante. Elle a dû porter le poids de l’histoire dans ses yeux et elle l’a fait si bien.
J’ai eu une famille en prison et j’ai toujours été curieux de ce que ce serait de sortir de prison et d’essayer de recommencer dans la vie. Ce n’est pas quelque chose que je veux apprendre de première main. Bien que, j’ai une idée, après la séance par le biais de Random Hearts. LOL! C’est un appel à ma référence à ce film! Non? Eh bien, je suis très drôle en France.

You might think that my wife, Jade, and I only like French Toast, French Fries and French Kissing. Well, from time to time we like to watch a French film.
We recently saw Kristen Scott Thomas in “Il y a longtemps que je t’aime” written and directed by Philippe Claudel. I have been quite impressed with her work with the exception of Random Hearts, but that was mostly because Han Solo was in it without Chewbacca. I know, unforgivable. In this film she turns in a powerful performance as an ex-con living outside prison for the first time in 15 years. Through the film you learn what she was in for and why. A truly heartbreaking story. She had to carry the weight of the story in her eyes and she did that so well.
I’ve had some family in prison and I was always curious what it would be like to get out of prison and try to start over in life. It’s not something I want to learn first hand. Although, I have some idea after sitting through Random Hearts. LOL! That’s a call back to my earlier reference to that movie! No? Well, I’m very funny in France.
I did not hate it!
