Godspeed, Papa
Today we remember Jim Stauss with stories and songs of worship to his God. He passed away last week. Jim was my wife’s father. He loved Jade so much. He was a kind man who never spoke of ill of people. He had patience for days and a smile for everyone. He had one of the best work ethics I’ve witnessed. We worked at Westmont College at the same time. I would always hear from co-workers what a good soul he was. He was a proud grandfather who my kids refered to as “Papa” with great affection. He was a wonderful husband to Jade’s mom, Tracy. An all around good man. Like most of us close to him, I wish I had spent more time with him. This seems too short of a post, but he was a man of few words so maybe it’s appropriate. I don’t know.

I wish I had known him better. Sounded like he was an amazing man from what I heard at the memorial. Will and Malia made me cry as they were crying, laughing and caring for Jade. I love you Mundell people.

You said it well, buddy! I know Jim is glad that you are there looking after those that he loves so much! He is in a better place, and you are here making this place a little better for all of us. Thanks!
