Life

We lost our friend Claire last week. We feel blessed to have ever had her in our lives. She was pretty special. She married our good friend, Cameron.

Cam has been such an example of sacrificial love to me. It’s not something you take actual notes on, but I have learned much watching him see Claire through her fight with stupid cancer. They were a sweet  couple.

Here’s Cam thinking about a million things.

Camping

Hello internet pals.
I was away camping last week at Refugio Beach with wonderful friends. A refreshing time was had and I didn’t post much to my little bloggy blog here. I’ll work on some content for you in the next couple days.
Thanks!

My First Comic-Con

Today I depart on a journey to become a man. No, wait. I did that already (at least thrice). Today I depart on a journey to become a boy. A fanboy.
I embark on the geek version of a pilgrimage to Mecca. A Nerd Haj, if you will. Comic-Con. Where Lucas sold Star Wars t-shirts in the late 70′s. If I see less than 56 Stormtroopers I will be PISSED. I don’t mean a
Clonetrooper/Stormtrooper mix. I mean 56 or more old school Stormtroopers.
I’m not dragging my doughy ass to San Diego for 4 days for Clonetroopers.

Dad Wins

Happy Fourth!

I think my feelings about the founding of this great nation (and the unquenchable spirit herein) can be best described in, my friend, Brad’s Home of the Brave T-Shirt.

iPhone 4

Why is it easier to buy 27 U2 tickets than 1 new iPhone? AT&T’s servers were crawling like a tranquillized Grizzly. It’s as if AT&T was a sleepy high schooler “Wait. What?? I thought the pre-order thing was July something?” Get your act together, AT&T!! I gotta get a iPhone!
